How worldwide doctor search works

Primary worldwide source

Geoapify Places supplies live geographic healthcare listings. We resolve the selected city/country to geographic boundaries and rank healthcare places by proximity to the selected or detected location.

Specialty truthfulness

When a source explicitly returns a specialty category such as cardiology or otolaryngology, we mark it as specialty-confirmed by the source. When exact specialty data is sparse, we may show nearby general medical practices in a separate group labeled “specialty not confirmed.” We never relabel a general clinic as a requested specialist.

Worldwide does not mean exhaustive

Results represent what the currently connected live sources return. We do not claim to list every doctor in a city or country.

Pagination

Results are fetched in pages of up to 30. Geoapify supports limit/offset pagination, while United States CMS NPI records can supplement the worldwide place results.

Booking

Every result has a visible Book appointment action. The profile fetches live source details and displays phone, email or provider website when supplied. BestNearbyDoctors does not claim the appointment is confirmed.

Other sources

CMS NPI supplements U.S. searches. OpenStreetMap medical listings remain a small-radius fallback rather than a country-wide crawler.
